A 29 year-old Galloway Township man has been charged with aggravated assault, after his father was found dead on Saturday. James Sopuch Sr. was found dead inside the home he shared with his son on Trotters Lane just before 10 p.m. Saturday. James Sopuch Jr., 29, was arrested and placed in the Atlantic County Jail on $100,000 full cash bail. The death has been ruled a homicide after an autopsy found that Sopuch Sr. died of blunt-force trauma to the head.
