GALLOWAY MAN ARRESTED FOR HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT

A 43 year-old Galloway Township man was arrested on Sunday for allegedly hitting a man on a bicycle and leaving the scene. State Police have charged Todd Battaglia with aggravated assault after Glen Bott, 59, also of Galloway, was critically injured when he was run down on East Mill Road in Port Republic on Oct. 21st. Police eventually found Battaglia’s 2015 Nissan Ultima at an area auto repair shop. Battaglia was placed in the Atlantic County Jail on $25,000 bail.
