FUTURE VERY BRIGHT FOR TOURISM IN THE WILDWOODS

Last year was a very good year for tourism in the Wildwoods.  Officials with the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority held a meeting on Tuesday and announced that tourism taxes increased by nine percent in 2014 following a down year in 2013 largely caused by Hurricane Sandy.  The authority is conducting a marketing blitz in the spring since that’s when most families make their firm vacation plans.
