FURLOUGH PLAN GOING INTO EFFECT IN ATLANTIC CITY

Many public workers in Atlantic City will be experiencing furlough days in the near future. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the state has approved a plan that will give 10 furlough days to many state employees. According to the Press, the following departments will be impacted: Administration, Revenue and Finance, Public Works, Human Resources, Health and Human Services and Licensing and Inspections. The furlough days will be used throughout the remainder of this year.
