FUNERAL SERVICES FRIDAY FOR BUTCH MCPHERSON SR, 72

Funeral services will be held Friday morning in Lower Township for former longtime police office officer Charles “Butch” McPherson.  McPherson passed away last Saturday evening, November 6th at his home.  McPherson lived for decades in West Cape May and served as a police officer in the community from 1971 through 1988.  McPherson also served the county as an employee of the Mosquito Commission and the Cape May County Road Department.  McPherson served West Cape May as a member of the volunteer fire company for more than 40 years.  Services are being held Friday morning at the First Assembly of God Church in Lower Township.
