A airline is making Trenton a hub instead of Philadelphia. Similarly to how Spirit Airlines uses Atlantic City, Frontier Airlines is making Trenton-Mercer Airport its home. The airline had been using Trenton and Philadelphia, but didn’t want to compete with itself. Within the next month, Frontier will fly to Orlando, Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, and New Orleans. Come April, additional flights will be added to Atlanta, Chicago (Midway), Columbus, Raleigh-Durham and Detroit.
