FRANK VOGEL STARTS NEW NBA SEASON WITH NEW TEAM

Wildwood Crest native Frank Vogel begins the new NBA season Wednesday night coaching a different team. Vogel’s contract as head coach of the Indiana Pacers was not renewed at the end of the season and he was hired to coach the Orlando Magic. Team management says Vogel’s emphasis on defense fits perfectly with the team’s profile. Vogel is also known for his ability to connect with players and provide positive reinforcement.
