A Margate man was sentenced for distributing child pornography on Friday. Nil Choudhury, was given four years in state prison. He previously plead guilty on March 28 to a second-degree charge of distributing child pornography and a fourth-degree charge of possession of child pornography. The initial arrest took place during the 2013 “Operation Ever Vigilant.” In pleading guilty, Choudhury admitted that he knowingly used file sharing software to make multiple files containing child pornography readily available for any other user to download from a designated “shared folder” on his computer.
