On Friday, Cape May County was officially recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard as a “Coast Guard Community.” Presiding over the ceremony was the Commandant of the Coast Guard, Adm. Paul Zukunft, joined by mayors from communities across the county. Also in attendance were all five Cape May County Freeholders, 1st District Assemblymen Andrzejczak and Fiocchi, and Congressman Frank LoBiondo.
