The mayor of Fort Lee has now contradicted himself in a new interview published over the weekend. Mark Sokolich told the Bergen Record that yes, Governor Chris Christie did try to woo him with gifts and perks in an effort to win his vote before the last gubernatorial election. Earlier, Sokolich stated that Christie did not solicit his vote. Sokolich says he was given free lunches, personal tours, and a shuttle bus for his town.
