FORMER POLICE OFFICER GETS FIVE YEARS FOR ILLEGAL WEAPONS

A man who was arrested with a major stash of assault weapons has been sentenced to five years in jail. The former Vineland police officer, Robert Hinkle, had assault rifles and illegal ammunition magazines seize during a raid of his home in 2009. In total, about 258 guns were found. Attorney General Jeffrey S. Chiesa made the announcement on Wednesday.
