Former Ocean City Mayor Henry “Bud” Knight, died Saturday in Estero, Florida at the age of 82. Knight became mayor after Mayor Nicholas “Chick” Trofa died in office in 1992. Knight served out Trofa’s term and was elected in 1994 for the first of three full terms. Knight also served on the city Planning Board, Zoning Board and City Council.
