FORMER LOWER TOWNSHIP MAYOR JACK SPARKS, 77

Lower Township is mourning the passing of former mayor Jack Sparks. Sparks passed away on Friday after battling cancer at the age of 77. Sparks served as Lower Township’s Mayor from 1973 through 1976 and also was a past commissioner of the Delaware River and Bay Authority. Services will be held on Thursday at St. John of God Church in North Cape May.
