A former employee of the Cape May County Herald has been arrested for hacking into their computer system. The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office announced the arrest of the 29-year-old Rich Racela, of the Villas. He has been charged with two counts of computer criminal activity on a second and third degree charge. He surrendered to the Prosecutor’s Office and was released on his own recognizance. Racela could face between five and ten years in prison.
