FORMER GUARD AT BAYSIDE CONVICTED OF DEALING DRUGS

A November sentencing date will be held for Nazair Bey of Pittsgrove Township who was convicted this week of distributing heroin at the Bayside State Prison.  Bey worked as a senior corrections official at the prison when charges were lodged against him leading to his arrest back in March.  The heroin was distributed over a two month period in 2011.  Bey could face up to ten years in a state prison.
