A former backup running back for the Philadelphia Eagles has surrendered to police on charges that he participated in the theft of $15,000 worth of gasoline from a construction company in Utah. Reno Mahe and four others are charged with stealing the gas from a suburb of Salt Lake City. Mahe was booked on Thursday and released pending his next hearing which will take place in early August. Mahe and the other suspects are accused of filling up their own personal vehicles with gasoline while using the construction company’s secret code.
