FORMER CUMBERLAND GOP CHAIR PLEADS GUILTY TO FRAUD

The former leader of the Cumberland County republican party has pleaded guilty to fraud charges. Robert Greco was in a Cape May County court on Friday and pleaded guilty to charges that he swindled nearly $150,000 from the account of an elderly resident at a nursing home that Greco owned.  Greco could have faced up to 20 years behind bars; he avoids prison time if he pays back all of the money that he stole.
