FORMER COP ASSISTS IN POLICE CHASE IN MILLVILLE

A retired Millville police officer assisted in a police chase Tuesday morning as he saw a man running from the cops. The Vineland Daily Journal reports that Robert McQuade witnessed a suspect fleeing from authorities at about 10:45 a.m. when he jumped out of his truck and tackled the man. The suspect was William Campbell, who was wanted on a warrant and charged with resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.
