A man who worked as a car dealer in Cape May County and is accused of ripping off customers by not paying off their trade in vehicles could be headed to court next year. A hearing was held in Superior Court on Tuesday for Rudolph Chiorazzo who operated the now-defunct South Shore Auto World in Upper Township. Chiorazzo is charged with conspiracy, theft by deception and other offenses. Authorities allege that car buyers complained about the car dealership not paying off the loans on trade in vehicles. The dealership closed its doors via bankruptcy five years ago. Judge Ray Batten announced in court that a pre-trial conference will be held in two months.
