FORMER CAPE MAY MAYOR JERRY INDERWEIS, 83

The man who was the mayor of Cape May largely through the first decade of this century has passed away at the age of 83.  Jerry Inderweis died Thursday evening after a long career in public service.  Inderweis had many accomplishments as mayor, including the reconstruction of the Washington Street Mall. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening at the Spiker Funeral Home.
