A former Atlantic City firefighter was sentenced to eight years in prison Friday, after his conviction on attempted child luring and attempted endangering the welfare of a child. William Case Jr., 29, of Galloway, engaged in sexual online chats with an undercover detective who he thought was a 14 year-old girl. Case was arrested in 2008 by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office after attempting to meet with the “14-year-old girl”. Case had internet chats of a sexual nature with the detective on five separate occasions in August and September of 2008.
