FORMER AC TOP COP TO GET $3 MILLION SETTLEMENT

The former top cop in Atlantic City has been awarded a $3 million judgement from a jury.  A jury returned the settlement to former Atlantic City Police Chief John Mooney who contends that he was demoted following some whistle-blowing activities.  Mooney acknowledged misconduct involving Mayor Lorenzo Langford and he was punished.  He is owed over $800,000 to fill out his contract that ended last year.
