FOREST FIRE NEARLY CONTAINED IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

Fire officials say a forest fire in Cumberland County is nearly being contained. The fire broke out in Downe Township and a couple thousand of acres have burned during the blaze. Another fire has broken out in Ocean County as state officials have said no fires can be set in the woods due to weather conditions. Firefighting efforts in Cumberland County are expected to continue for a couple of more days to ensure that none of the blaze picks back up in the dry conditions.
