Five Atlantic County high school football teams won their first round playoff games on Friday night. Egg Harbor Township, Atlantic City, Oakcrest, Hammonton, and Holy Spirit all won their playoff contests. Atlantic City’s win was a 32-24 victory over Millville. In consolation football games from Friday night, Sterling spanked Middle Township, 26-6, while Brick Township outlasted Ocean City, 27-20.
Saturday afternoon, Lower Cape May plays Barnegat in a playoff football game which will be broadcast live on WCZT Radio with Brian Cunniff and Buddy Tarbotton at 1:00pm.
