FOOTBALL: OCEAN CITY WINS, LOWER GET CLOBBERED

Ocean City’s football team picked up its first win of the season on Friday night by knocking off Egg Harbor Township, 19-7.  Ocean City scored the first 19 points of the game and received touchdown runs from Shane Stack and Andrew Donoghue.  Lower Cape May was defeated by Oakcrest, 45-0.  Oakcrest scored six touchdowns in the first half to cruise to the victory.  Clayton defeated Wildwood, 28-0; the game was called in the third quarter due to lightning from a thunderstorm.
