The Philadelphia Flyers have traded their longest tenured player. The team has announced that Simon Gagne has been traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning. In return, the Flyers are going to received Matt Walker and a 4th Round draft pick. Gagne has been with the Flyers since 1999. He had 40 points last season in 58 games.
