FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR CAPE MAY COUNTY MONDAY NIGHT

Cape May County’s coastal communities remain under a Flash Flood Watch from the National Weather Service. Forecasters believe some heavy thunderstorms may develop over the county Monday evening, and those storms could drop two inches of rainfall in a very short time. Coastal Delaware Bay sections of Cumberland County were hammered with storms on Monday afternoon. There’s a good chance for storms late Monday night and again Tuesday afternoon, and Tuesday evening.
