Gov. Chris Christie is front and center in the news, but not for good reasons. Christie has taken a second day of mostly negative public comment over his use of a State Police helicopter to his son’s baseball game. The Governor left in the fifth inning and used the helicopter to fly to meet a group of people that wants him to run for President. Christie said he will not reimburse the state. Meanwhile, the State Police issued a statement saying training missions are consistently on-going and pilots need to log hours. It didn’t matter whether they transported the Governor or not, they would have been in the air. Many Democratic lawmakers have lambasted Christie, calling it a misuse of public funds.
