Gov. Chris Christie has drawn attention again for ordered the flags to be lowered for a celebrity’s death. Flags will be at half staff on Monday for James Gandolfini, who died on Wednesday. Some say the honor should be kept only for serviceman and women who die. The governor’s office says state law allows for discretion in other cases. Gandolfini was most famous for his staring role in the “Sorpranos.” Previously, Christie put the flags at half staff for the deaths of Clarence Clemons and Whitney Houston.
