Homemade bombs continue to threaten residents in the Northeast, as five bombs were found near the Elizabeth, N.J. train station on Sunday night. Two men turned in a backpack containing the five devices to local police, who called in the Union County bomb squad and the FBI. Nobody was injured early this morning when one of the bombs was accidentally detonated as a robot tried to disarm the device. Amtrak has suspended rail service through Elizabeth and New Jersey Transit said that all service along the Northeast Corridor and New Jersey Coast lines had been suspended in both directions until further notice.
