FIREFIGHTER’S HELMET STOLEN FROM LOCAL TAVERN

Another memento of a fallen public servant has been stolen in the Wildwoods. NBC-10 reports that the helmet of a fallen firefighter was stolen from the wall of the Firehouse Tavern on Park Boulevard in Wildwood. The helmet belonged to Ray McQuaid, a Gloucester Heights firefighter who passed away 25 years ago from cancer. Owners of the bar are asking for the return of the helmet, no questions asked.
