On Sunday evening a fire caused extensive damage to a home on the 100 block of E. Syracuse Avenue. Shore News Today reports that the fire started from a gas grill in the backyard of the home. No major injuries were reported but one person was evaluated by medical personnel.
The fire damaged two storage sheds in the backyard, as well as the back portion of the home.
