No injuries are reported as the result of an apartment fire in Rio Grande on Thursday morning. Fire crews were called to Maryland Cove around 8 o’clock in the morning to battle an attic fire in a vacant apartment. Two local fire crews responded; it does not appear to be suspicious in nature. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
