A long-awaited beach fill project for the southern end of Ocean City is expected to begin in March. Governor Chris Christie announced that the State and the United States Army Corps of Engineers will conduct beach fill projects in southern Ocean City, and in portions of Upper Township and Sea Isle City in the spring. The only hurdle still remaining..obtaining easements from property owners so dunes can be constructed.
