Finally, some good news for the state of New Jersey regarding its finances. State Treasurer Andrew Sidamon-Eristoff announced just before the weekend that the state is taking in enough revenue to meet its budget. The state collected 2.6 percent more revenue than what was forecast. Sidamon-Eristoff still says there’s much work to be done in the state, saying revenue projects are pretty flat and barely meet modest budget projections. The state took in $7.8 billion from July 1-November 1 of this year.
