FINAL PHASE OF PARKWAY WIDENING EXPECTED TO END IN 2017

A lengthy project to widen a long section of the Garden State Parkway should conclude in 2017.  The New Jersey Turnpike Authority reports that the widening project between Egg Harbor Township and Toms River should end sometime during the new year.  This project costs $590 million.
