A circus will close the Izod Center in March. The center is costing the state money as the North Jersey arena runs at a deficit and is controlled by the state. The center is turning over events to the Prudential Center in Newark and the Ringling Bros. Circus will be the final one at the arena in March. The state wanted to shut the arena down by the end of the month but it would not work the way the state wanted it to happen.
