The chances are running out, but there are still chances to get free flu shots. Cape May County is offering two final flu shot clinics on December 5th from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Cape May County Library, Main Branch (30 W. Mechanic St, CMCH), and December 12th from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Department of Health (6 Moore Rd, bldg #17, CMCH). While supplies last, the FluMist nasal spray vaccine will be offered in addition to the injectable vaccine at these clinics. The high-dose vaccine for seniors and the pneumonia vaccine will be offered at the December 12th clinics held at the Department of Health. Seniors who want the high-dose vaccine need to bring their Medicare and supplemental insurance cards to the clinic.
