FINAL BRENDAN BOREK SURF WEEKEND HELD IN AVALON

Saturday was the 25th, and last, Brendan Borek weekend in Avalon.  Organizers of the event dedicated a quarter century to remember a local teen who died from cancer back in 1991.  The annual weekend in Avalon included a big surfing event and community party, and raised plenty of money to help local families deal with expenses related to childhood cancer.
