FEMA REVIEW DEADLINE ON THURSDAY FROM SANDY DAMAGE

A deadline to appeal Hurricane Sandy awards hits on Thursday. FEMA imposed an Oct. 15 deadline for Sandy victims that felt that they didn’t get enough from their flood insurance carrier to opt-in to have their claims reviewed. In this latest extension, nearly 30,000 people have contacted FEMA as of last week, according to U.S. Senator Robert Menendez.
