FEMA: MORE THAN $780 MILLION IN “SANDY” AID TO NJ

$780 million, and counting.  That’s how much disaster relief ad has been doled out by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in New Jersey following super storm Sandy.  FEMA says more than $300 million has been spent on housing assistance for 52,000 people who were displaced by the storm.  Sandy victims have until March 1st to apply for the federal assistance.
