FEMA MAY TAKE APPEALS ON HURRICANE SANDY DAMAGE

Homeowners with Hurricane Sandy damage but had insurance companies say their damage wasn’t Hurricane Sandy may be able to appeal. NJ.com reports that FEMA may consider letting about 270 homeowners between New York and New Jersey appeal their decision to FEMA. U.S. Senator Robert Menenedez has questioned the process that allowed insurance companies to quality home damage under other reasons that Hurricane Sandy, though the homeowners were adamant that the damage happened as a result of the storm.
