FATAL SHOOTING IN BRIDGETON CLAIMS ONE LIFE

Bridgeton police and investigators from the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old Fairfield Twp. man in the 100-block of York St. Saturday night. According to police, they were summoned to a residence following 911 calls of a gunshot victim at approximately 10 PM and found the victim inside among other family members. The victim was rushed to Inspira Hospital in Bridgeton but succumbed to his injuries a short time after arrival. Detectives are continuing the investigation into the incident.
