FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON ROUTE 47 IN MIDDLE TWP.

There’s been another fatal motor vehicle accident on Route 47 in Middle Township.  Township Police told WCZT today that 29 year old Waymon Hawkins of Cape May Court House was killed when his vehicle ran off Route 47 in Goshen early Wednesday morning and struck a utility pole and a tree.  Hawkins was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.  Route 47 was shut down for about four hours, and has since re-opened.
