A fatal motor vehicle crash claimed the life of a 21-year-old. Brandon Seelig was the driver of a 2003 Honda Civic when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree. Seelig was critically injured in the crash and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The accident occurred on Ocean Heights Avenue in the area of Virginia Avenue, in the Scullville section of the township, around 1:25 a.m. The passenger, Ian Holliday, suffered moderate injuries. Both men were from Egg Harbor Township. The roadway was closed for approximately 3 hours while this crash was investigated and cleared.
