An 11-year-old was killed when a vehicle hit a utility pole in Middle Township. Police there say that a White Ford F150, driven by Kristin Conner (40) of Villas,NJ, was traveling north on SH 47. The vehicle left the travel lane and struck a utility pole and a tree just before 7 am on Wednesday morning. An eleven year old passenger was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries. The crash is still under investigation by the Middle Township Fatal Crash Team and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office. Conner was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
