FATAL ACCIDENT TAKES A LIFE IN GOSHEN

A life was claimed during an accident on Wednesday in Goshen. Responding officers discovered a head on crash with both cars in the southbound lane. Initial investigation indicated that a black dodge charger was traveling north on SH 47. The charger left the north bound lane and struck a ford Taurus which was traveling south. A witness on scene indicated the Charger traveled north on SH47 from the Rio Grande area. Cape May Court House and Goshen Fire companies responded to the scene, and extricated the driver from the Taurus. Middle Township EMS and medics from Atlanticare Medic 9 transported the driver to Atlanticare Medical Center in Atlantic City. The driver was pronounced dead at Atlanticare Medical Center. Charges are pending at this time.
