FATAL ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION AIDED BY FATHER OF VICTIM

The father of the Robert Layton, Jr., the  37 year-old man who was struck and killed on Wednesday night crossing North Wildwood Boulevard, has been searching out security video from local businesses of the accident. Robert Layton Sr. is hoping to find more information on the accident that killed his son as he was crossing the four-lane roadway to visit a friend. No charges have been filed against the driver, 47 year-old Steven Fosco, as the accident remains under investigation by the Major Crimes Unit and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office.
