Don’t plan on taking a joyride anytime in the near future. The State Office of Emergency Management has signed a statewide travel ban for non-essential personnel. The travel ban is effective from 11 p.m. on Monday until it is determined that the travel ban is not necessary anymore. Penalties can be imposed under state law for breaking the ban.
