Its already Hurricane season and Cape May County wants to get you ready. The county will be hosting its annual Emergency Preparedness Conference on Tuesday at the Wildwoods Convention Center. Participants at this year’s conference will include Major Patrick Callahan, Commanding Officer, NJ Office of Emergency Management, Cape May County Freeholder Director Gerald M. Thornton, Martin L. Pagliughi, Cape May County Coordinator of the Office of Emergency Management, Jim Eberwine, Retired NOAA Hurricane & Marine Program Manager, Tom Lamaine, Meteorologist, Retired CBS 3 in 2009 and Dan Skeldon, Meteorologist, WMGM TV 40. Following the speakers, there will be a public question and answer session. Exhibits will open for the conference at 9 a.m. with speakers to begin at 10 a.m.
